Great couch co-op game to play around with friends, the characters are fun to learn and improve and the matches can get quite intense. No problems with lag so far.. So, first of all, the game suffers from SOME lag (and a low playerbase).That set aside, though, the game is a blast to play with friends! You just never stop screaming at how close those spears can get to you. And when they get close enough and you're about to die, you dodge at the last moment and the slow-motion makes it look amazing.All in all, the game has the scope you'd expect from a small team. But it's a small team that's motivated to make this the best game they can, and they ARE listening to feedback.Pick it up. If you're looking for a different game, this is it.. I purchased this game to play in the living room with my brothers but it crashes when we connect the controllers. The game does not start when more than one controller is connected. Right now we cannot play it with controllers and certainly cannot play it with just the keyboard, mouse or with one shared controller. I am aware the game has partial controller support but I thought it would still be playable and not crash completely. Please let me know when full controller support is added and when it no longer crashes when more than one controller is connected so I can re-buy the game. Thank you.. I keep getting crap advice replies so I'm going to go ahead and revise the review. I didn't enjoy the game. I can understand the appeal but after playing it, I didn't have any fun at all. The concept feels solid, but the gameplay and controls with a gamepad feel awful. It barely works with a steam controller. The simulated joystick drifts and seems to point down without any input on my part. The Logitech gamepad feels like there is some kind of input lag. It feels mushy and I don’t have that issue/feeling with hyper light drifter, hollow knight, dark souls, towerfall. The game is nowhere near as polished as any of the previously mentioned games. The “campaign” barely had a story. The dialogue in the story sort of reminded me of a dubbed anime. It was really cheesy, and often times I wondered why I was fighting my opponent. That isn’t why someone gets a fighting game or a… dodgeball Deathmatch (?) game but if you’re going to include bad dialogue and a bad story I’m going to comment on it. Lots of bugs, like the enemy starting the fight during the dialogue portion and killing me. Tie games that ended in loses. And I couldn’t get past the first opponent in the campaign. On top of the mushy unresponsive controls, the enemy had much stronger attacks than me on the first level. Perhaps a picked a crappy starting character, but why would it be so unbalanced anyways? Very cool concept but I didn’t have fun playing this. Got my refund and I don’t expect to buy it again.. I've played the game since the beta, had been following it much much longer before.I've had the chance to meet with one of the devs before, and he's actually a great guy, and you can actually notice when you follow this game's history, this whole thing was quite the labor of love from this Portuguese team.It's a great game, even if right now it's lacking with online play due to being a recent game (I think), but trust me when I say the campaign def makes up for it.It's fast paced action will be keeping you on your toes and wanting more.Can be played couch (Local) play, online play, and even single player as I've mentioned. With a total of 8 characters at launch, and also constant updates to improve the game, I can definitely see this game going places.If you have the 15€/15$ to spare, definitely give this a shot. Play it with friends online, or locally, give the single player a try. You won't regret it one bit.See you all out there.. Fantastic game, it's a shame the developers have abandoned it.
